Dr Dusanovic was born on 1963 in Belgrade. After graduating High School in 1981, and serving compulsory army forces from 1981-1982, he enrolled at the Medical School in Belgrade in 1982 After completing his primary studies of Medicine he got his Medical Degree in 1987 with the highest honors. During studies he was engaged as a student assistant in Institute of Anatomy for four years. After completing one year mandatory rotating internship and passing the Medical State Exam in 1988. he has got professional license (number 100061 active until present) and has been appointed as Assistant Professor of Anatomy, University Medical School of Belgrade. In the same time he started his General Surgery residency in 1989 at the department of General Surgery, University Clinical Center of Serbia, Belgrade in the service of Professor R. Colovic and Professor Z. Gerzic one of the most respected centers in Europe.

He has continued General Surgery residency at Belgrade University Clinics and University Hospital Center-Zemun at the department of General Surgery run by Doctor Lj. Kostic and department of Traumatology and Hand Surgery ruled by Doctor N. Dekleva where he has been permanently employed. In September of 1993 he completed his general surgery training and passed Specialization Exam in General Surgery with excellent mark.

At the end of 1993 as a young general surgeon, he has started his new specialisation in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery training conducting for another four years at the leading University Clinics in Belgrade and one of the respected schools for Plastic Surgery in Europe including Clinic for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Military Medical Academy under Professor B.Pantelic, Clinic for Burns, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery University Clinical Center of Serbia runned by prestigious world famous Professor M. Karapandzic, Clinic for Plastic and Reconstructive Hand Surgery in Special Orthopedic Surgical Institute-Banjica, and Clinic for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Children University Clinical Hospital conduct by world known Professor S. Perovic gaining a huge clinical experience in all field of Plastic Surgery. In 1997 being already general surgery specialist he completed his second plastic surgery training and passed Specialization Exam in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery with excellent mark.

Between 1988 - 1996 he enrolled Postgraduate Studies at Medical School, Belgrade University and passed all postgraduate exams, defended his Postgraduate Scientific Research Thesis in a basic Applied Surgical Anatomy and become Master of Science( postgraduate)

During this period, he was elected as a surgical consultant in the medical team employed from the Diplomatic Corps at the US Embassy in Belgrade.

In the 1997. he was appointed by the hospital main board Clinical Hospital Center-Zemun to organize and run newly Hand Surgery Department.

In 2000 he has founded private Aesthetic Surgery Clinic '011' in Belgrade focused exclusively on aesthetics runned successfully up to date. Since 2010 he lived and worked parallely in Belgrade and Paris being able systematically to improve his skills participating in many congresses, workshops and courses of Aesthetic Surgery becoming one of a leading and highly experienced in facial rejuvenation and rhinoplasty.

Aleksandar Dusanovic MD, MSc has presented over forty professional studies at Congresses and Conventions home and abroad and many published at Serbian and International professional Journals.

He is passionate for the plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery, from the highly artistic reasons, very sophisticated surgical technique, field in constant evolution and possibility of fulfil patient’s wishes at the maximum solving intimate conflict between desired self-image and the image seen in the mirror.
